SICAME ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT took part in the 10th edition of the Chinese wind power show
The 10th Chinese wind power (CWP) show was held from 17 to 19 October 2017 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing. SICAME Electrical Equipment (Nantong) took part in this event, exhibiting the Group’s product range linked to manufacturing wind turbines and producing wind-derived electrical power.
Visitors to the SICAME stand showed particular interest in electrical connection products designed for systems supplying wind-derived electrical power.
The Chinese wind power show has taken place since 2008 and is held once a year in Beijing. The event turned out to be a real success, attracting more and more companies, experts and universities from across the world, particularly for its conferences. In this way participants share their experience, discuss technologies and explore possibilities for cooperation, making CWP the real barometer for development of the wind turbine industry in China.
This show has become a benchmark and for this 2017 edition occupied an area of 52,500 m2. More than 650 exhibitors attended this edition, including 430 Chinese companies and 220 foreign companies from 25 countries, including 22 wind turbine manufacturers, 540 companies producing spare parts and 88 support service companies. Nearly 50,000 professional visitors from 33 countries and regions visited this exhibition.
Worth remembering:
According to the GWEC (Global Wind Energy Council), at the end of 2016, China recorded the largest number of new installations, with power output increasing to 23.4 GW, or nearly 45% of the global total. Chinese wind turbine capacity produces 241 TWh, or 4% of its total electricity production.
