We wish to pay a warm tribute to Daniel PEYRAMAURE for his long career in the service of the Group on the occasion of his retirement at the end of September. Daniel has contributed greatly to the development of the Group in general, and of industrial connections in particular with the tremendous success of MECATRACTION.
A true saga begun in 1971 with the acquisition by SICAME of a manufacturer of electrical connections, MECANOSER, then in 1976, the acquisition of DEPARTEMENT TRACTION, another manufacturer of electrical connections, rail this time. It was in 1981 under the impetus of Pierre François, then CEO of SICAME, that the 2 companies were merged to create MECATRACTION, whose leadership was entrusted to Daniel PEYRAMAURE.

Regardless of the path travelled and the challenges identified so that industrial connections and tooling became a major strategic asset for the group. Today, Daniel hands over the reins of a dynamic, inventive and constantly progressing SBU to his successor, Yannick Henaff.

We should remember that in 2016, the Tooling Connections DAS represented 14% of the activity of the Group with a turnover of 50 million euros and an increase of over 10% compared to 2015. These few lines only touch on what Daniel, close to his employees and a perfectionist, has contributed both in industrial and human terms.

His retirement does not mean the end of his collaboration with the Group because his vast experience and his desire to remain available for the Group will be put to use for specific consulting assignments.
