After successfully rolling out the Purchasing Strategy approach for the Group’s subsidiaries, the purchasing team (GPT) took over responsibility for the stock reduction programme at Group level on 25 May and became the GSCT (Group Supply Chain Team), under the responsibility of Darren MARSHMAN.

Caroline BOUDY, who has already launched the initiative in the Distribution SBU level, joined the GSCT team to lead the project. A first pilot project, launched at CLAVED in April 2018, is gradually being extended to all the Group's sites during the year.

Like the Purchasing Strategy approach, this programme will employ workshops and regular monitoring to ensure action plans identified with the local teams are implemented, so as to increase turnover rates without affecting customer service.
