Successful experiment, the Dervasil connected lightning conductor selected for the Enedis contract
After experimenting for a year and a half on the ENEDIS grid, during which the lightning conductor with LoraWan-compatible Wireless technology and the associated DERVASIL web platform could be proven on two sites in the south of France and one site in the Alps, the system has received a favourable opinion to be the only one selected for the future ENEDIS contract.
This good outcome achieved with this completely innovative device was made possible by the involvement and expertise of DERVASIL teams throughout the investigative and experimental phases. It should be noted that following the first experimental phase with lightning connected conductors on the Nîmes and Montélimar sites in September 2016, ENEDIS wanted modifications made on the product. Thus a second phase was able to start at the end of 2016 with the improved equipment. Finally, an extended experimental phase was conducted on the mountain site at La Plagne in August 2017. All the experiments gave satisfactory results. In November 2017, ENEDIS took the decision to include our product on its ‘SMART-CONNECT’ platform, which contains all the connected objects installed on the LV and HV-A grids, in order to prepare the deployment for this 3-year exclusive contract.
