DERVAUX: pilot site of a GPEC (Predictive Management of Jobs and Skills) approach

In the face of multiple changes, our companies must continuously adapt. Tools and technologies are constantly evolving, and increasingly quickly.
It is therefore essential that our employees’ skills develop at the same pace. In addition, with retirements, we could quickly be faced with an erosion of knowledge if we do not formalise its transmission.
The SICAME Group has chosen DERVAUX as a pilot site for a skills management approach to preserve our company’s know-how. The approach began in May this year with the assistance of a specialist consultant.
The training process chosen is based on running functional workshops to co-construct documents, job fact sheets, and skills repositories with employees.
It is an interactive process that relies on exchange and reflection.

15 functional groups will be run by the end of 2017 - the aim being to identify the functions which are emerging, under pressure, stable and sensitive and to analyse the variances compared to our needs.
This approach must promote our employees’ versatility and the development of their skills and, in a general way, to allow the implementation of an effective Human Resources policy that is line with the company’s strategic directions.
Once the GPEC approach has been modeled within DERVAUX, it will be rolled out to the other companies in the Group, in order to have a consistent, common and shared HR strategy.
SICAME Pompadour and MECATRACTION have already taken on the methodology.
This Management of Professional Pathways will also be endorsed by a collective agreement within the SICAME Group in France, because our social partners are stakeholders in this approach.
