A+A 2017 in Düsseldorf, a strategic presence for CATU and the Safety SBU

A+A, the world’s largest safety trade show for safety, health and safety at work was held in Düsseldorf from 17 to 20 October 2017. CATU was there as a PPE specialist.

For CATU and the Safety SBU, this show was an outstanding success in terms of visitor numbers. Many business visitors crowded onto its stand and more than 120 contacts were made over three days. Contacts from many areas: Europe, Latin America, India and even the USA. They discovered CATU as a specialist in PPE and gloves for electricians, some contacts going as far as approaching the team on the stand to begin more detailed discussions, evidence of CATU’s recognition as a highly qualified specialist.

Never before has the man been so important as at this edition of A+A. The man, his health and safety was the message of this show extending over nearly 71,000 m2, which brought together a total of 1,930 exhibitors from 63 countries and more than 67,000 visitors (compared to 65,000 in 2015), who came from more than a hundred countries.

During this show, everyone could see how much digitisation has entered all areas of life and work, in particular through the Internet of Things (IoT), which affects billions of products around the world, including areas of health and safety at work. The A+A show is not only a new technologies: show, but also the link between the past and the future of the world of work.
